Great food with great friends

Hope everyone had a great weekend!!! I was out on the town for some friends birthdays and more!
Here are some highlights from my carb face of a meal Saturday night at Quartino

Left to right: Fried calamari and veggie pizza with Parmesan shavings

Mini meat ball sub- so cute and delish!
Funniest picture of the night… Jeff showing off the asparagus risotto!

We had to order the fondue desert. Dark chocolate with strawberries, bananas, and pineapple… FABS!
Sunday taco night & the Hawks game!
My friends and I made a Mexican fiesta while watching the hawks game. My friend Sarah made these nachos shown below…

Easiest recipe ever!Layer chips and salsa in a baking dishTop chips and salsa with cheese to cover top layer of chips
Healthy tip: Use baked tortilla chips and low fat cheese Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes (until cheese is melted)Enjoy!

We made the taco filling with ground turkey and boneless skinless chicken breast and seasoned the meat with taco seasoning We sauteed the veggies in olive oil, salt, and pepper.
We combined the veggies, meat, cheese, salsa, etc into our own little personal tacos. Sorry there is no pic we scarfed it all down too fast!
Blair burned her finger while heating up the tortillas… (Try these tortillas when making your next mexican fiesta)

Thank you Patron! :)
I’ll be out of commission for a few days… I’m getting my wisdom teeth out tomorrow. Wish me luck!
