Core Fusion!

Hey everyone! Today is Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year. To all you fellow Jews out there, L’shana Tova!!!!!!!
Tuesday after work, I went to my first Core Fusion class! My friends Sam and Blair swear by it, so I had to try it out! I went to an open level class which is offered to all levels. First, I was very impressed with the facilities. The locker rooms were very clean and organized. I also liked their “key-less” lockers which you can use free of charge. They also have showers and a steam room available.
I strutted into the class wearing my gym shoes but realized no gym shoes are necessary, just socks. The class requires a mat, 1 pair of light hand weights, and a body band which is all provided. The instructor, Nicole was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable in her class- especially since I was a first timer and all.
The class started out with a warm up then jumped right into alternating exercises focusing on certain muscle groups. This class worked my arms, legs, back, and abs. Nicole had us use the ballet bar to do different kinds of squats and stretches to concentrate the different muscles in our thighs and glutes. Whew! It was tough. I have never used a ballet bar before so it was something new and different which I always love.
This hour long class was amazing and worked every single muscle in my body. I finished feeling fantastic! I told Nicole that I was battling a tail bone injury (don’t ask, I fell last weekend when I was out dancing) and she even stayed after the class was over to show me modifications. I loved the individualized attention!
The class is located at Exhale Spa. One class session costs $24 but they have a ton of package options that are very cost effective. I have to admit, it’s totally worth the expense since the facility provides you with all of the equipment and access to their super clean locker room.
Deffinitly give it a try, you will not regret it!
Have a great day!!
