Jewish New Year {night one}

Good morning, it’s going to be a beautiful day….I can feel it! Actually, I’m just trying to be optimistic because it’s Monday.

Last week my family and I observed the Jewish new year. He is a photo recap of night one.
Lately, I have been staying away from eating chicken, but my Mother made this fabulous roast chicken that was out of this world.
Stuffed with fresh thyme, spices, and lemon wedges

My Dad made these roasted garlic and Parmesan mashed potatoes…out of this world!

Challah bread.
My Mother goes to the bakery the end of the day to make sure she gets the last baked loaf. We had the freshest challah bread this year,
Time to cut into the chicken!
The chicken turned out moist, juicy, and had TONS of flavor.
This was the first time I had chicken in a LONG time.
gosh she’s so pretty!
After my Dad cut the chicken up, he poured the gravy over the chicken to add even more flavor.
When it comes to the Jewish holidays, we don’t mess around!
Stay tuned for night two in tomorrow’s post.
Have a great Monday!
