Jewish New Year {night two}

Good morning! I am going to get a flu shot today and I am NOT looking forward to it. I get one every year so I figured I should keep the streak going. Below is a recap of my Mom’s second night hosting the Jewish New Year. Like I said in my last post, when it comes to the Jewish holidays we don’t mess around…

Cousin Honey’s Carrot Cake
one of my favorite side dishes
lemon jello mold
crispy chicken with a hot apricot sauce
Brisket!
My Mom makes the BEST brisket in the entire world. This year it turned out amazing.
I had three servings of it! YUMMMMMMM!
It literally fell apart on my plate.
The beautiful table.
My Mom spends hours making sure her table is perfect.
She even has a special way she folds the napkins.
My Nana’s chandelier that is now in our dining room. Obsessed.
My little cousin Kara!
homemade strudel all made from scratch.
Apricot strudel.
My Mom hosted 35 people at our house, wow that’s a lot of people. My favorite part of the holiday is that you can feel the love in the room. There’s nothing better than being surrounded by my family and friends.

Have a great day!
