Pinkberry Chicago Launches a Delivery Service!

This week Pinkberry is launching a delivery service in Chicago, bringing frozen yogurt treats right to doorsteps. Now you don’t have to leave your cozy, heated homes or offices to enjoy Pinkberry. Orders can be placed here (diningin.com) and the delivery service is available for all Pinkberry flavors and toppings. For those willing to brave the cold, Pinkberry is also offering a 10 percent discount on in-store purchases when temperatures dip below 32 degrees Fahrenheit in January and a 20 percent discount for students beginning January 15, 2012.

Cost: there needs to be a minimum order of $20, plus standard delivery fees.

Who’s going to get their Pinkberry on?!

My Sample Meatless Monday Menu:

Breakfast:

Trader Joe’s Steel Cut Oatmeal with 2 packets of stevia.

I normally like to add pb, cinnamon, or sugar free maple syrup.

Lunch:

Brown rice with steamed vegetables.

Trader Joe’s chocolate chip fiber bar.

Snack:

1/2 bag of reduced fat Gardetto’s mix. The entire bag is 250 calories.

Dinner:

Two Dr. Praeger’s veggie burgers (no bun) with 1/4 cup of reduced fat cheddar cheese (melted on top).

Steamed Broccoli

Desert:

1 small cup of Pinkberry Blood Orange frozen yogurt w/ mochi.

FYI I did not finish the entire thing!

As I mentioned I was at a work conference last week for two days. It was a great experience! Here are the highlights of the speakers I saw from Kickoff 2012!

Al Gore:

Two key points in Al Gore’s speech: diversity and the climate crisis.

“The climate crisis is the overriding challenge of our time.” Al Gore.

Madeleine Albright

“There is plenty of room in the world for mediocre men. There is no room for mediocre women.” Madeleine Albright.

Her speech was amazing and so inspirational. She was my favorite :)

 Rudy Giuliani’s Goals for Organizations:

*hard work & accountability

*self responsibility

Whitney and I at the Kickoff after party

 Have a great day!
