I’ve become obsessed with cooking on my grill. There’s nothing better than sitting on my balcony, drinking a glass of wine, and enjoying the summer breeze. I also love that I don’t have to clean anything when I cook on the grill…no pots, no pans, no mess!
I know all I make is salmon and asparagus all the time in many different ways but I like it, it’s healthy and it’s easy to make.
I love charring the asparagus on the grill to give it a smokey flavor. I put it directly on the grill to get those grill marks. Some fell through but thats bound to happen.
Grilled Asparagus: coat the asparagus spears in 1 tbsp of olive oil, salt, pepper, and Trader Joe’s everyday seasoning. Place directly on the grill for 10-15 minutes turning the spears half way through cooking. Make sure to keep an eye on it!
The salmon came out fantastic. The seasoning created a flavorful crust that smelled amazing. I finally mastered cooking salmon on the grill.
Simple Grilled Salmon: top the salmon filet with 1 tbsp of olive oil, salt, pepper, and Trader Joe’s everyday seasoning. Liberally sprinkle the fish with the everyday seasoning to create a crust. Place on the grill for 15-20 minutes until the salmon is pink and firm to the touch.
You can make this recipe in the oven or on the stove but if you have access to a grill I highly recommend using it!
